Puig Rear Fender Extension - BMW F900 R / XR
Add extra protection to your motorcycle with a Puig rear fender extension.
- Made of ABS material, highly resistant to any type of impact and painted in matt black to preserve the motorcycle’s look.
- The assembly of the fender extension takes place over the original motorcycle fender and it’s attached by screws supplied by Puig.
- To attach the fender extension, it is necessary to drill holes on the original fender using a 4mm drill bit
- Improves protection of the original fender
- Supplied with plastic rivets to mount on the stock fender
The product can be fitted with the guard on or off the bike. (We recommend that the guard should be removed from the bike when possible.) Thoroughly wash and degrease the inside of the guard using the alcohol wipe supplied. Check fitment of the Extenda Fenda on the guard and align at your own leisure. Rough up both touching surfaces with sandpaper. Apply high bond adhesive * in concentric circular patterns on the Extenda Fenda mounting face. Offer the Extenda up to the guard and position as correctly as possible.
When you are happy that the Extenda Fenda is correctly positioned, press all around the joint face with finger pressure. It is advisable to apply spring clamps or similar to the outer ends to ensure a good contact.
